After breakfast, you will discover La Candelaria, the charming colonial old town of Bogotá. Your English-speaking guide, will take you to discover the best places of this colourful area in a 3.5 hours-long private walking tour.
Along the walk, you will visit iconic places such as the Plaza Bolivar and Chorro de Quevedo. Your guide will give you explanations and facts about the history of Bogotá, as well as its current situation.
After lunch, you will have some time to keep discovering Colombia’s capital city no your own. You could visit the Gold and Botero Museums, some of the best museums in the country.

Today you will take a full-day tour to two fantastic attractions in the surroundings of Bogotá.
Zipaquirá’s Salt Cathedral; a majestic cathedral built inside of the largest salt deposit on earth. Here you will learn how Catholic symbology and contemporary engineering converged in the construction of this huge temple.
On the other hand, Guatavita Lagoon, a mystical and sacred place for the indigenous tribe Muiscas, will give you a glimpse of what a Paramo ecosystem looks like, while you learn about the famous legend of El Dorado.

In the morning you will have some free time to enjoy the last attractions of Bogota.
After lunch, you will be taken to the airport to Bogota so you can catch your flight to the pearl of the Caribbean: Cartagena. Your hotel is gorgeous boutique hotel located right in the colonial old town.

In the morning, you will take a fantastic 4-hours long city tour of Cartagena, a city that captures the heart of all its visitors because of its colours, Caribbean climate, warm people and its historical legacy.
This tour starts by picking you up at your hotel to take you to La Popa monastery. In this place, you can view Cartagena entirely from a viewpoint and learn about the history of this monastery.
Afterwards, you will be driven to Castillo de San Felipe, a strong fort built on top of a mountain by the Spanish as a strategic point to gain control of the bay, where incredible battles were fought during many centuries. There you will have the opportunity to discover from the outside the impressive architecture and history behind this fort.
The Cartagena city tour continues with some great walks around the 2 oldest and most important neighbourhoods of Cartagena: Getsemani (famous for its graffities and colourful streets) and El Centro (the best preserved of the city).
In the afternoon, you will have some free time for you to enjoy the city on your own.

Today it is time to discover Cartagena. In the morning, you will take a tour to the Bazurto market or “the People’s Market” of Cartagena.
This special place is very animated and full of colors, interesting food, smells, and energies of the many vendors who sell their products at this market. You will get a real impression of the typical warmth of the people living at the Colombia’s coast.
It might feel a bit unorganized at the beginning, but it is the ultimate chance to see the real face of Cartagena and its people. In this a guided tour of 3,5 hours in English where you will be introduced to typical dishes, ingredients, fruits and vegetables from the region.
You will have your afternoon free, so you can discover and enjoy the gorgeous colonial old town of Cartagena on your own.

The last days of your time at the Caribbean coast of Colombia should be celebrated in style. At 08:30 you are brought to the harbor of Cartagena to take a speedboat to Isla Grande.
This is one of the many beautiful islands of the Rosario islands that are located at one hour navigating from the coast of Cartagena.
If besides relaxing at the beach you feel like doing some activities, you can take a birdwatching tour, a diving course, a snorkel or kayaking trip, a massage, or a walk through the mangroves.

Today you can choose how to spend your day. You can relax on the beach and enjoy your Caribbean paradise or consult the hotel for tours and activities.

You will spend the morning and the afternoon calmly on the island. Your boat trip back to Cartagena is scheduled for 15:00 which means that around 16:00 you will be back in the harbor and you will be transported to the hotel where you stayed the previous time.
The late afternoon and evening are free for you to keep discovering Cartagena.

Today you will have your last day in Cartagena and in Colombia. Depending on the departure time of your flight back home, you might still have some time to keep discovering and enjoying Cartagena.
