It isn’t easy to describe Cartagena with just some words. The city has a lot of different faces and is influenced by many historical events. This tour makes sure you have the chance to get to know the most important and most beautiful sites while being accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

You will be picked up in your hotel and start this 6 hours tour by first driving away of the center. The first crucial stops is for example the La Popa Monastery, from where you can view the whole of Cartagena from a viewpoint on a hill. You will visit the monastery and learn about its history.

Enjoy the architecture of the Republican houses and Cartagena’s Moorish style that dates back to the early twentieth century in the La Manga neighborhood.  Afterwards, you will visit the Castillo de San Felipe, a strong fort built by the Spaniards on top of a mountain as a strategic point in an attempt to keep Cartagena safe from pirates and other attacking entities.

The tour continues with a beautiful walkt hrough the historical center full of little streets, colorful houses with wooden balconies, and locals selling merchandise and street food. You will pay a visit to Torre del Reloj, Plaza de la Aduana & Plaza de Comercio, and the Naval Museum, which are all of important historical value. Additionally, you will go to the gorgeous San Pedro Claver church.
