After breakfast, you will discover La Candelaria, the charming colonial old town of Bogotá. Your English-speaking guide will take you to discover the best places of this colourful area in a 3.5-hour-long private walking tour.
Along the walk, you will visit iconic places such as the Plaza Bolivar and Chorro de Quevedo. Your guide will give you explanations and facts about the history of Bogotá, as well as its current situation.
After lunch, you will have some time to keep discovering Colombia’s capital city on your own. You could visit the Gold and Botero Museums, some of the best museums in the country.

A driver will pick you up in the morning and bring you to precious Villa de Leyva.
On your way to this cozy colonial town you will make a stop in Zipaquira where you will pay a visit to an impressive underground salt cathedral. An English-speaking guide will show you around in this 120-meters deep salt mine that is decorated with crosses and statues made of salt.
Zipaquira is a 2-hours drive from Bogotá and from there it is another 2,5 hours to sleepy Villa de Leyva.
After arriving and settling down in your hotel, you can visit the biggest square of South America and walk around in the beautiful cobblestone streets of this white town.

In the morning, you will be picked up by an English-speaking guide. He will take you on a trip back in time to the prehistory of Villa de Leyva.
On your way you will learn where once the prehistoric sea was located and you will see weird rock formations and natural phenomena like Pozo Azules.
You will also visit a couple of museums that are dedicated to the study of the many fossils found in the region. One of them exhibits a giant Kronosaurus.
Furthermore, you will discover a museum about the colonial history of the area and a gorgeous working monastery. Additionally, you will visit “El Infiernito”, which is a sacred place for the local indigenous people.
At the end of the tour you will pay a visit to the Terracota house to see how local natural materials are used for house building.

After breakfast it is time to set course to the Coffee Zone of Colombia. A driver will pick you up at your accommodation and make sure you get on time to the international airport of Bogota where you will take a flight to Pereira.
A driver will await you in the airport of Pereira and take you to your hotel, Reverie Lodge, a magical place that is is surrounded by lush gardens and the rolling green landscapes that make Colombia’s coffee region so unique. From everywhere, including your cabin, you can take in wide views over the mountains and its plantations, while the different viewpoints around the property invite you to slow down and connect with nature.

Right after your arrival, you can already start enjoying the colorful exotic flowers and the many birds that find their home here, as well as a hidden waterfall and access to the river.

In the morning you will leave your beautiful hacienda to pay a visit to the Cocora Valley with a guide. You will make an amazingly beautiful walk in the valley that is dotted with large palm trees. These peculiar trees are the national tree of Colombia, the Quindio Wax Palm tree, and they can get as high as 60 meters.
Afterwards, you will visit Salento, a colonial town nested at the feet of the Cocora Valley, where you will have the opportunity to walk around and take pictures of the cute colorful houses.
You will finish your tour with a visit to Filandia, a local coffee village that is famous for its beautiful local arts and crafts.

Today, it will be time to get to know more about the world-famous Colombian coffee. You will be guided around by an English-speaking guide on an active coffee plantation so you can learn more about the complete production process of the coffee.
You won’t only see how the coffee is processed from seed to coffee bean, but you will also get the chance to try out different kinds of coffee.
After lunch, a driver will bring you to the airport of Pereira so you can take your flight to Santa Marta.
From the airport of Santa Marta you will be transported to a beautiful hotel that is located near the entrance of Tayrona National Park. The hotel has direct access to a gorgeous beach, outdoor pool, and restaurant.
After you installed yourself it is time to enjoy the sea, the swimming pool, and all facilities that your beach hotel has to offer.

Today could be the perfect day to visit Tayrona National Park. The hotel can arrange for you to be brought to the entrance of the park so you spend the day discovering the beautiful beaches and jungle walk at your own pace.

After breakfast we have arranged for you to be brought by a driver to Cartagena. This is a drive of about 5 hours near the coastline and through little villages, so don’t forget to let your eyes feast on the beauty surrounding you.
By the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in the historical center of Cartagena.
The location of your accommodation is ideal, and you will be close to the restaurants and the main touristic sights of this colonial city. Thanks to this, you can immediately start discovering the town!

The last days of your time at the Caribbean coast of Colombia should be celebrated in style. At 08:30 you are brought to the harbor of Cartagena to take a speedboat to Isla Grande.
This is one of the many beautiful islands of the Rosario islands that are located at one hour navigating from the coast of Cartagena.
If besides relaxing at the beach you feel like doing some activities, you can take a birdwatching tour, a diving course, a snorkel or kayaking trip, a massage, or a walk through the mangroves.

You will spend the morning and the afternoon calmly on the island. Your boat trip back to Cartagena is scheduled for 15:00, which means that around 16:00 you will be back in the harbor, and you will be transported to the hotel where you stayed the previous time.
The late afternoon and evening are free for you to keep discovering Cartagena.

In the morning, you will take a fantastic 4-hour-long city tour of Cartagena, a city that captures the heart of all its visitors because of its colors, Caribbean climate, warm people, and historical legacy.
This tour starts by picking you up at your hotel to take you to La Popa Monastery. In this place, you can view Cartagena entirely from a viewpoint and learn about the history of this monastery.
Afterwards, we will drive to Castillo de San Felipe, a strong fort built on top of a mountain by the Spanish as a strategic point to gain control of the bay, where incredible battles were fought during many centuries. There we’ll have the opportunity to discover from the outside the impressive architecture and history behind this fort.
The Cartagena city tour continues with some great walks around the 2 oldest and most important neighborhoods of Cartagena: Getsemani (famous for its graffiti and colorful streets) and El Centro (the best preserved of the city).
In the afternoon, you will have some free time for you to enjoy the city on your own.
